YOGA
FOR WOMEN (a class for
women with babysitting)
This multi-level yoga class focuses
on core conditioning by strengthening the abdominal and pelvic floor
muscles and reawakening the whole body. Principles of alignment
are applied to a step-back flow series (rather than
jumping.) The class is appropriate for women who have recently
had babies, and babysitting is available. However, all women, young
or old, with children or not, are welcome. This is not a gentle
class, so be prepared to sweat. Men are welcome to attend the Parents
Yoga class with babysitting.

Why
a womens yoga class?
This
is a class that celebrates the cyclical changes in a womans
body. Because of
the hormones in womens bodies, everytime they wake up, their
body is different from the day before. This also affects a womans
yoga practice. Yoga is a great way to gain physical, emotional
and mental strength. This is also a great way to network with other
women.
